About the Job

We are looking for a wheel excavator operator to join our team; you will operate our 14 tonne Doosan wheel excavators working on various earthworks and farm maintenance projects throughout Mid Canterbury.

As an excavator operator, you will play a key role in our 'Done Right' approach to projects - big or small. Earthworks and farm maintenance projects will include drainage, trenching, tree maintenance and removal, water race cleaning, land clearing, irrigation, along with farm tracks, yard, laneways and more.

Understanding our clients' needs, you and team will help deliver the right outcome first time.

Skills You Will Need

  • Experience operating wheel excavators
  • New Zealand drivers licence with WTR endorsements
  • Self-motivation and be able to work unsupervised
  • STMS or TMO qualifications advantageous
  • Be a team player and have good communication skills
  • Ability to complete a job to a high standard
  • A good attitude towards Health and Safety

Training and licensing will be provided to the right candidate (e.g. class 2, WTR licence endorsements)
