Tarbotton RideSmart Park
Tarbotton Land & Civil are proud to be part of bringing the RideSmart Park to life. This new park is a place where kids, adults, families, and whānau can learn road safety skills with confidence.
Tarbotton Land & Civil approached the Mid Canterbury Community Wellbeing and Safety Enhancement Trust and offered to take on the bulk of the earthworks and project management free of charge. Together, and with the help of a wider group of community sponsors, we turned the project from an idea into a reality.
Nestled in the heart of Ashburton, the RideSmart Park is an important asset for the community. It gives children a secure, purpose-built environment to build their riding skills and road safety knowledge, something that matters especially for Ashburton schoolchildren who often navigate busy roads or railway lines on their way to school each day.
The RideSmart Park is a great example of what's possible when a community pulls in the same direction.We're excited to see this project grow and can't wait to see the community get out and use it.
